Welcome to a "Worldwide Police Family" This page is designed with two purposes in mind. First as a guide to make the Absea list more enjoyable for the current Absea members and secondly to tell new folks a little about the list. Hopefully the webpage will serve to show potential members how they can become part of our "Worldwide Police Family"! This is a restricted membership discussion list for those from the law enforcement profession and their spouses. To qualify at least one of the couple must work, or have worked, for a law enforcement agency in some capacity. We welcome both current and retired police officers, correction officers, dispatchers, prosecutors, parole/probation officers, animal control officers, etc. We discuss issues related to law enforcement and offer our members a place to share ideas and problems with others in law enforcement. Members may "lurk" and simply use the list to read and learn, or they can actively post their messages to the list. Most do a little bit of both!
